Debating: At the world's largest debating tournament, Oxford Schools, I placed 2nd out of 1,500+ teams in 2023 and reached the top 8 in 2024. I have qualified for the outrounds in ~20 more tournaments, including placing second at Penn WSDC 2023 and being awarded 'Top Speaker' at LSE Seniors 2023, as well as defeating the World University Debate Championships 2023 'Top Breaking Team'. I have also coached dozens of debaters as president of Eton's debating society and for the Art of Debating foundation, with one of my students making the England national team 2024-5. Teaching consists of going through various drills, and homework will require sending speeches and watching videos.
Academics: earned King's (academic) scholarship to Eton, eleven 9s in GCSE, four A*s in A-Level (maths, further maths, economics, history), and an 800 SAT maths score. Placed top of year at Eton in Latin (3x), maths (1x), and for overall exams (1x). Teaching consists of working through questions students struggle with, or going through a textbook of their choice.
