Tutoring Policy

Welcome to EduPair! Our tutoring policies ensure a smooth and professional experience for both tutors and students. Please read the following guidelines carefully:

1. Trial Lesson

All students are entitled to one fully-refundable trial lesson with any tutor under our company. This lesson allows students to assess compatibility with the tutor. If the student wishes not to continue on having lessons with the tutor following the first lesson, the trial lesson will be fully refunded.

2. Payment Structure

• Tutors will begin receiving payment starting from the second lesson if the student chooses to continue. Tutors will not be paid for the trial lesson.

• From the second lesson onwards, tutors will be paid 90% of the fee that students pay per hour, with 10% being commission to the company.

3. Payment Schedule

• Tutors will be paid their hourly rate via bank transfer within 5 business days following each lesson.

4. No-Show and Cancellation Policy

• Tutors will not be compensated for:

  • No-shows by the tutor.

  • Last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours before the start of the lesson).

  • Arriving more than 20 minutes late to a lesson.

5. Student Assignment Policy

• Tutors must not teach the same students they were instructing for EduPair without the company's knowledge.

• Tutors are prohibited from continuing to teach previous students from EduPair after deciding to leave the company.

6. Communication

All communication regarding lesson scheduling, cancellations, and student assignments must occur in a Whatsapp chat with one of our staff members to maintain proper records and ensure accountability.
